It had a very distinct tinny, metalic taste which couldn't even be hidden with Nestle's Quick. This has been a dietary disaster for us, as our daughter already eats very little protien outside of peanut butter. I'd strongly urge approaching Safeway's organic foods with a lot of caution. By reviewer greenmom22 2006-10-09 00:36:49Always thought milk was milk was milk. It all tasted the same. But I was wrong. One night we knew we ran out of milk for the next morning. Safeway was the only store open around us. So I went and got O Organic milk - 4% for my younger one and 2% for my older child. The next morning, both of them took a sip or two and then refused to drink more. So I thought perhaps that batch was bad for some reason. But since then I heard similar stories from my friends. And we had it at a friend's house once. My kids immediately said the milk tasted funny. So perhaps it tastes weird for the "refined/picky" palette? Report this review Your take
By reviewer cecilia 2007-01-26 16:37:14I only had the fat free version. It is very thin and bland tasting, even for fat free milk. The plus side is it's easy to find and is almost always on sale. If you have to pay regular price, pick something else. Report this review |
